AFK Hours
Changelog

What’s new

What changed on AFK Hours, newest first.

  1. AFK Hours in Czech and Italian

Two more languages: the site, the dashboard, the FAQ, the guides and the emails now read in Czech and Italian. Pick yours from the language menu.

  2. Hide your recent activity

On paid plans, an account can mark its idle list private on Steam: the games leave your recent activity for everyone else. While it is on they drop no cards and their hours are hidden; switch it off to make them public again.

  3. No more daily limit on Free

The Free plan now idles around the clock: the 8-hour daily limit is gone. The number of accounts and games stays the same.

  4. Clearer badges and crates

Badges are grouped by family, with tabs and every level one click away, plus the closest one to earn and an estimate at your pace. Crates sit on one shelf with a reminder before this month's run out, frames are sorted by rarity, and the odds and history stay in view.

  5. Badges in levels

41 badges now, most of them in levels: hours, streaks, achievements, cards, invited friends, crates opened and more. Each level brings a crate, and the badges page shows how far the next one is.

  6. One Support page

Help and tickets are one page: search the answers, browse them by topic, and open a ticket or follow yours from the same place.

  7. Every free game in your library

Free-to-play games you added on Steam but never launched now show in your library too. Refresh it from the icon next to the search.

  8. Crates

Free crates every month (more on the bigger plans) and one with every new badge: open them and watch the strip roll. Days of plan or a frame for your picture, worn on the ranking and your public profile.

  9. PayPal in the payment window

Card or PayPal, it is now the same payment window for every plan, lifetime included.

  10. Public profiles

Every idler has a page at afkhours.com/u/name: hours, rank and badges. Click a name on the ranking to open it; yours is linked from your profile.

  11. Referrals pay on every plan

A friend who subscribes now earns you both the bonus days, like a lifetime purchase did, and days given on a subscription last through its renewals.

  14. Unlinking keeps your hours

Unlink a Steam account and the hours idled on it stay in your total and on the ranking; link it again and they are back on it.
